We made it through our first week at Montessori Camp– woohoo! Lira is an old pro, but this is Zana’s first time in a school environment, and we were a little worried about how our wild child would handle it. We’re doing camp for these few weeks before pre-school starts so her sister can show her the ropes, and help get her used to how this whole school thing works.
Of course, we never did anything like this for Lira; but don’t all parents baby their baby?
Here’s a look at how the week went down:
Do you think they still love me? I’m fully expecting them to wake up Monday morning and say “no need to drive us, Mom… or whatever your name is. We got this.”
What have your first week of school experiences been like? Or, if your kids haven’t started yet, are you prepared?

Hahaha. Maybe it eill be “yo driver, finish that breakfast and lets get goin here ”
I think we like to be babied by our babies at time. Mamas need love too 🙂

I agree! I need my baby to baby me. Why are they always running off when I need to snuggle most??

Aw, I’m not at the point where J no longer hugs and kisses me when I drop him off but I’m sure I’ll be sad when that day comes too. I’d say, of course they need you! Who’s going to put them in cute outfits and awesome back packs? A quick goodbye is better than a sobbing goodbye, IMO

You are right, and my head says “be happy.” But my heart says “how about if I forget to pack your lunch? I bet you’ll need me then!”
